Valentine’s Day is perhaps the most well known rose and flower giving occasion in the annual calendar. Valentine’s Day falls on the same day every year being the 14th of February and is a focus of romance, affection and a celebration of the joy that love can bring.
The classic gift for Valentine’s Day is long stemmed red roses. Roses for Valentine’s Day are usually presented as a bouquet or as a boxed arrangement. In recent years, boxed presentations of long stemmed red roses... for Valentine’s Day have become very popular due to their impact at delivery in front of colleagues and for ease of transporting home.
Usually roses at Valentine’s Day are given as a single, half dozen, dozen and then multiples of a dozen. As mentioned previously, the classic colour of Valentine’s Day roses is red. In the past few seasons, however, the popularity of mixed coloured roses for Valentine’s Day has risen as people try and stand out from the crowd and be a little different.
Of course the most important thing at Valentine’s Day is not the number or colour of roses given but that fact you remembered to give some roses on Valentine’s Day in the first place!
